Coming to you this week from the Maldives with big news from Katy and Joe…we got engaged! Plenty more to come on that in the near future, but for now I leave you with a good, old fashioned shopping inspiration post while we enjoy the rest of our trip!
Lately, I’ve been trying to up my own travel accessories for maximum comfort and utility through long haul flights, quick trips, and everything in between! Here is a list of some of my favorite travel accessories that I’m lusting after at the moment.
We originally bought the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 last year and I think it has been our favorite little toy! Except, Joe recently put me in charge of packing it (big mistake!) and I kept forgetting it on recent trips…oops! The pictures we do have look so cute posted in various places around our apartment.
I recently realized that Fujifilm has made a new version of this fan-favorite polaroid-style camera in the Instax Mini 70. The best part about this one compared to our previous model? It is less bulky making it easier for packing. Fingers crossed this means that I’ll actually remember to start packing it now! On second thought, maybe I’ll just give that responsibility back to Joe!
These Passport Holders
Nothing says traveling in style to me like a chic passport holder. You want one that will stand the test of time, and wear any distress from years of use like a badge of honor. I recently had to say goodbye to my old, trusty one. It was sort of bittersweet, but opened the way for a search for so many pretty new ones!
I love love LOVE all three of these so much and honestly can’t decide which one I would buy for myself! The things I look for the most in a travel backpack are size (big enough for a laptop and plenty of other things), comfort (speaks for itself), and pockets (the more, the better!). The three of these check all of those boxes AND they’re all priced under $50!
Nothing says comfort in style like a good pair of Nikes! I recently got these ones and am in love. They also have a men’s version which I think is equally as cool. What’s cuter than a matching couple cruising through the airport?? (JUST kidding, everyone!)
Anytime I’m on a long-haul flight, one of the best things I can bring is a comfy blanket. I find that one really helps me cozy up and sleep better than the blankets they provide. AND some airlines have actually stopped providing blankets and pillows, so this guy is becoming a necessity!
This Water Bottle
Ok, so this one is nothing groundbreaking, but I am in love with S’well water bottles. It is so important to stay hydrated when flying, and these guys do the job so well. They keep water icy cold so it’s always refreshing. I always just ask the flight attendants to fill mine up anytime the cart passes instead of taking the teeny tiny water cups they give you!
Pin it for later!
